Stop Porn Culture (Location in Second Life)
These images, apart from those depicting Second Life, have been taken from the National Feminist Anti-Pornography Movement (now known as Stop Porn Culture) slideshow, 'Who wants to be a porn star?'.
The slideshow forms part of a training and awareness raising exercise on the harms of pornography; giving a historical perspective on it's development and impact on mainstream culture to date.
You must be over 18 to view the images (the second life grid itself is for people 18 and over)

What the First Moviegoers Saw
http://www.slate.com/id/2167573
What the First Moviegoers Saw
Legend has it that when the Lumière brothers' film Coming of Train, La Ciotat was screened in 1896, its image of a train approaching a station made viewers flee their seats for fear of being crushed.
The novelty of these earliest films, most of which simply offered glimpses of the real world in motion, lasted for about a decade. By 1907, more fictional narratives than documentary scenes were being shot; and by 1915, Charlie Chaplin was using movies to generate a new kind of star power.

A Swarm of Angels
http://www.aswarmofangels.com/
A Swarm of Angels reinvents the Hollywood model of filmmaking to create cult cinema for the Internet era. It's all about making an artistic statement, making something you haven't seen before. Why are we doing this? Because we are tired of films that are made simply to please film executives, sell popcorn, or tie-in with fastfood licensing deals.
We want to invent the future of film. Call it Cinema 2.0.

28 chapters
http://www.28chapters.org/
28 chapters is – or rather will be – a movie with 28 parts (“chapters”) that will be made by 28 different people or groups from around the world.
The story is developed along the way, but will progress more or less in the same way as a regular short movie will, even though the actors and setting will change every 30-45 second.
That is: Even though the actors and setting change every chapter, the story of the movie continues like nothing had changed.

Creating the Storyboard

Creating the Storyboard
The Page Content Worksheet will help you design and keep track of the files and events associated with the individual web pages that you will eventually be including in your actual storyboard (the document which shows flow and directionality as well as individual page content). This worksheet can also serve as a storyboard in and of itself, if you wish. However, you will probably want to put this information into a completed storyboard in order to get a better sense of the flow and directionality of your web course.
