Global Learning Communities
http://www.glc.me.uk We link many schools around the World together, not thorugh a formal twinning process, but because they want to share information at the learning level. Among the interesting project on the site are: 1) 24:7, an online newspaper which any pupil can contribute to. 2) An online conference centre that runs events where children can discuss current issues between themselves and with industry experts. Over 400 pupils from around the world discussed environemntal issues in October. |
