Global Routes
http://globalroutes.org/
International community service and teaching internships.
A primary focus of the college-level internship program is to develop the individual’s sense of self-sufficiency. While interns receive support from their In-country Director and fellow interns, they spend the majority of each week living somewhat independently in their host villages where they teach in local schools. Currently, college-level programs exist in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Ghana, Kenya, Thailand, and on the Navajo Reservation.
A primary focus of the programs for high-school students is to develop the individual student through the experience of working, traveling, and living with a group of peers.
