Exploratree is a free web resource where you can download, use and make your own interactive thinking guides.
Thinking guides can support independent and group research projects with frameworks for thinking, planning and enquiry. We’ve provided a set of ready-made guides which you can print out or use online.
All of the guides are completely customizable or you can start from scratch and make your own! You can share them and work on them in groups too.
The Exploratree web resource has been developed by Futurelab and emerged out of our work on the Enquiring Minds project.

The Holistic Critical Thinking Scoring Rubric (HCTSR)
http://www.insightassessment.com/HCTSR.html
The Holistic Critical Thinking Scoring Rubric (HCTSR) has been discussed at numerous critical thinking workshops and conference presentations. The use of the rubric by students and faculty facilitates understanding of critical thinking, the use of the language of thinking, and focus on the skills and habits of mind that characterize a person who uses reasoned judgment to problem solve and to make decisions about what to do or what to believe.
The HCTSR supports multi-modal assessment, for it provides evaluators with descriptors of four levels -- two positive and two negative -- where in they can categorize the critical thinking evident to them in projects, portfolios, presentations, essays, etc. and the like.

Critical Thinking On The Web
http://www.austhink.org/critical/
Critical Thinking On The Web
This site aims to gather in one place links to all the most useful critical thinking resources on the web. It certainly doesn't even try to link to every critical thinking-related page - just the ones that, in my opinion, are reasonable quality and worth a visit.
The site is biased towards university or college-level critical thinking, and also towards informal reasoning, since these are my own starting points. However I've tried to be ecumenical and to include anything of value, including resources relevant to K-12 education.

Thinking Skills in Primary Classrooms
http://www.standards.dfes.gov.uk/thinkingskills/
Thinking Skills in Primary Classrooms
The aim of this website therefore is to provide information for classroom teachers working in primary schools in the UK about thinking skills programmes and approaches that are currently available. Background information to thinking skills approaches, the compilation of the database and some case studies of how schools have used the thinking skills to develop teaching and learning are included.
Since the review by Carol McGuinness in 1998 and the explicit inclusion of thinking skills in the National Curriculum, interest in the teaching of thinking skills has burgeoned in the UK. Thinking skills approaches are emerging as a powerful means of engaging teachers and pupils in improving the quality of learning in classrooms.
