Library Operation and Automation
The University of North Texas School of Library and Information Sciences will offer a 6 credit hour program in Thailand this coming summer. The course is open to all enrolled students, including transient students (students who are accepted only for summer courses for credit). Students will take two, three-hour classes:
- Library operation and policy development (3 hours) and
- Managing Automation Projects (3 hours).
The two courses involve performing a complete library system installation and developing associated policies and procedures for an English-speaking school in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Students leave the US on July 27, and return to the US on Aug 14, 2006.

CSP is the lead body in an association of highly experienced library and ICT advisory and training groups. CSP is a NOF Approved ICT Training Provider for School and Public Librarians. The CSP client base includes professional associations, governmental organisations, and local authorities.
All CSP training personnel are chartered librarians and ICT specialists with experience and expertise in delivering ICT training to librarians. CSP has been awarded many contracts both as sole and joint training providers of NOF-funded ICT training for public librarians throughout the country.
