Remotely Hosted Mailing List Providers

Remotely Hosted Mailing List Providers
Hosting your newsletter on a remote mailing list provider has a few advantages. Some Website hosts don't allow mailing lists on their servers, and with good reason.. excessive bandwidth usage and potential spam complaints are enough to keep even the best hosts cautious when it comes to mass email. Another advantage to using a remote newsletter service for your list is that if you change web hosts, your newsletter list (ie. your list of hard earned subscribers) will stay intact

Google Groups
http://groups-beta.google.com/
Google Groups is a free online community and discussion group service that offers the Web's most comprehensive archive of Usenet postings (more than a billion messages). We've recently added a number of features that make Google Groups an even more effective way to communicate with groups of people online.
Want to start your own online community? Whether you're a lemur aficionado wanting to share your enthusiasm or you want to keep in touch with extended family through a newsletter, just click "Create a new group," and your own discussion forum or mailing list can be up and running in a matter of minutes.
