Ceramics Today
http://www.ceramicstoday.com/
Ceramics Today is a comprehensive independent ceramics site, but one with a long history. Many of you may be familiar with its first incarnation as Claynet, which was set up in mid 1995 and was one of the earliest ceramics sites on the WWW (predating even the SDSU web site).
Many features of Ceramics Today may be familiar to you - the links, the gallery and the newsletter (now the 'Update'). There are also many new features - the Pot of the Week, Website of the Week and the Odd Spot.

A beginners guide to the art of ceramics : Pottery Tutorial
The "Pottery Tutorial" is designed for the beginner as a step by step guide to making ceramics. This guide is designed to give you the most basic techniques and some tips. Each Guide has illustrations as well as text to explain each step. Because of space requirements, glazing techniques are not yet covered in this tutorial; but my suggested list of related sites has some great examples of how to glaze.
