Language Assessment Scales Reading/Writing
http://www.ctb.com/products/product_summary.jsp
Language Assessment Scales Reading/Writing (LAS R/W)
Tests of English and Spanish language, reading, and writing skills.
Language Assessment Scales Reading/Writing (LAS R/W) measures reading and writing skills in either English or Spanish. The assessment provides reliable and practical ways to identify students for placement in, and exit from, bilingual/ESL programs. The tests assess vocabulary, fluency, reading comprehension, and mechanics and usage objectively with selected-response items, while writing is evaluated directly.
LAS R/W incorporates various assessment methods into one Spanish-language and two English-language forms. The tests meet the measurement and evaluation needs of most bilingual and ESL programs and comply with state mandates to use comparable assessments in both English and Spanish.

Online Test of English Language Proficiency
http://www.tasaliteracy.com/
Maculaitis (MAC II) Test of English Language Proficiency
The five levels of the MAC II evaluate the English proficiency of students in K-12 in four areas: Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing. National (USA) norms (based on data collected in 2000-2001) are available for each level, for each of these four subtests.
The MAC II also offers a 10-minute screening test for entering LEP students in any grade.
Because national norms are available for each of the four individual subtests, as well as for the test as a whole, the MAC II is extremely flexible. Administer the whole test, or only the subtests appropriate for your particular group of students.
