YCIS - Shanghai has three campuses (two in Puxi, one in Pudong) with a total of over 1100 students from over 45 different countries. Yew Chung's unique educational philosophy, which integrates the best elements of both Eastern and Western cultures, provides a nurturing environment in which students receive instruction in English by Western teachers
In addition, Yew Chung's comprehensive Chinese language and culture instruction for children of ages 1 to 18 along with the school's international student community together foster students to emerge from the school as both bilingual and global citizens.
Yew Chung's curriculum for Years 1 to 9 is based on The National Curriculum for England. In Years 10 and 11 we offer the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) programme with external examinations offered by Cambridge University. YCIS-Shanghai offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for Years 12 and 13. The IBDP has earned a reputation for rigorous assessment, giving IB Diploma holders access to the world's leading universities.
